Even a slice of worthy gil up 100k gil would be enough to feed me for a day.
As gatherer i cant manage to scrap up 5000 gil...
im lvl80 as gatherer but nothing sells what i gather, what am i doing wrong?
Why im posting here is because noone on my server replies so i hope someone do here.
Thanks and be safe.

I don't cook or do anything of that crafting stuff. I earn gil by doing daily roulette to get tomestones to exchange for crafting material to sell them. Can earn up to 500k with cap tomestone.

Maps are a very quick way to make a lot of gil. Try asking around to see if there is a map Linkshell you can join or keep an eye on PF for when map groups are looking for people. As a gatherer at lvl 80 you have access to one free lvl 80 map per day. Each chest is at least 10k even if the general rewards are meh.
You can also research and figure out what base mats are required for the newest crafted DoW and DoH gear. Usually this sells the best. I've found that mats connected to Ishgard restoration can sell for a mint but those are bought with scrips so unless you're big into that, it may not be worth your time.
I also sell what my retainers bring back on ventures. Sometimes it sells for a fair penny depending on what it is. Furniture and walls tend to sell the best--especially the Shirogane walls at least on my server.
Hope that helps a little. Good luck on your money making endeavors.

Palace of the Dead cam be profitable, especially the higher floors.
If you want to try and solo it or can get a few others to commit to a few evenings to see how far you can get, the silver and gold sacks can give you some pricey loot.

Anything, getting 100k a day is ez. Not getting burned out fighting bots and such is the real challenge.

The quick and easy way: do everyday things like challenge logs, roulettes, etc. and use your tomes for materials to sell.
Eureka: If you have access to Pyros, bunny fates can give you some good amount of gil if you're lucky.
The longest but best investment: Crafting and gathering. People love glamours. The more you are able to gather and craft yourself, the more you can make. Some of the most expensive mats usually come from high level Treasure maps.
