Can you emote to certain key words?

Sorry if this is confusing in my title so I’ll give y’all an example:

Hello (emote Greet), how are you?

In this example I would need to input the command to emote greet but I want to just say hello and my character will just automatically just emote greet, is there a way to chain this together?

I don't think there is a way to manually type and automatically accompany it with an emote. You'll need to use a macro instead.

You'd probably be looking at doing a little 'hello' macro. I've a friend who does something similar for when she switches classes (the character will do the victory stance emote after switching). I'm not at my computer, so this is from memory, but I think it's something like:
/<t>Hello!
/greet motion (if you want to use the 'greet' emote vs 'wave' or something)

There's some good 'how to' videos on youtube for all sorts of emote macros, so go wild!
