since it spend 5 of black and white mana, I suggest the potency being 400 instead of 300
Seems a bit much
Wouldnt it be neutral with the combo at that point?
Didn't it already get buffed to 300 because it was too low before?
400 would make it virtually just as good as the melee combo (the 1-2-3 combo avg's 410 potency per 2.2s) so I suppose it's still a loss once you factor in Holy/Flare and Scorch, but it still seems like too much given how little Mana you're spending.
If someone could math it out over the course of a fight, or maybe over 2/3 minutes, to see if just spamming Enchanted Reprise a couple times every third and fourth GCD between spell combos turned out better than touching the 1-2-3 combo, I wouldn't be surprised if 400 put it in the lead.
It's not meant to be a part of your rotation, it's a gauge spender to be used sporadically for when you need to bring your Mana down to prevent capping.
reprise isn't meant to be used too much its meant to just keep the GCD rolling when you have to move and cant cast.
at best only change will be that itll proc dual cast but i dont see any other changes happening to enchanted reprise any time soon
I did a brief napkin math of it and the normal combo assuming no manification, no accelleration, no oGCD, and zero procs starting from 0/0 ended up with ~153 potency per second after Scorch with 10/24 (iirc) mana remaining. A rotation which skipped the melee combo entirely, opting to use Enchanted Reprise after every Verthunder/Aero spell as many times as it was possible to use it, also no manification, accelleration or oGCD but assuming 100% proc chance resulted in ~136 potency per second after the same number of GCD with 1/1 mana left.
I.e. the best case scenario with 400 potency Enchanted Reprise spam was still worse than the worst case normal rotation.
That said, I don't think Enchanted Reprise needs a potency boost from it's current value. Particularly not such a large boost.
