Hi, I just finished ARR-ShB (including post-ShB MSQs). What should I do now? Raid right away? Do I need a FC and friends? Are the side quests worth going back to complete? I'd like to know what endgame is like in this game.

There is no wrong answer. There's a ton of content to do.
Sidequests are worth it if you are interested in the lore. They can also unlock dungeons and raids and the like.
There's crafting and gathering, you have the gold saucer, there's the endgame savage raids.
Just think about what brings you joy and do that. There's nothing you /need/ to do but have fun.
Glamour is end game.
Sidequests are worthwhile, especially if you haven't yet been pursuing the "blue icon" quests that unlock optional dungeons and other features.
Inventory management is endgame.
You have a lot of options. Side stories like Manderville might be fun, or leveling other jobs. A lot of people just like hanging out chatting/doing music. Others RP or dive deep into other content like Eureka or collecting minions or cards.
Like others said, there really is no wrong answer.
That said, do t feel like you have to force yourself to play either. I hope you continue to enjoy Eorzea, but if it’s not doing it for you, try another game like Nier or Guildwars 2.
When i reached max level i did catch up quests, old raids and trials and those trials they call raids for some unknown reason. Then a few beast tribes to get some kewl mounts, then tried to get a tank/healer to max level, then had like 7 fall outs from several FCs, bought a house. and finished up the patch cycle. still didnt touch erueka, crafting, savage raids, and the Gold Saucer and i think im missing some content. still from begining to end ff14 is a massive game
You can level another job, go for crafting and gathering or go for raiding if that suits you. I would totally recommend doing the Manderville quests, they start in Ul'dah with "Rise and Fall of a Gentlemen" near the aetherite.
