Probably not for TGS, the only event they generally add in-game stuff for is Fan Fest. Hopefully they can get the online version of NA's set up early next year... I was looking forward to being able to go to one. TT.TT

A lot of work for one fan fest, so I'd assume if they did all the effort it'd now be a thing for every fanfest (hang out together in game). Free food vendors, goofy timed live items, bonus mgp, special prizes (perhaps from the moogle tomestone pool). Like if they opened up all the moogle tomestone reward pools, and there was a like a scratch it list for some fairly big rewards (complete X of this, get 10 stones, one time things), and then maybe the GATEs give low amounts (so the interion isn't to let people farm all of them but just get something they missed). Cactpot drawings each day. Or you might have a wonderous tales special where for that week all the tasks relate to the saucer. Each fan fest could have some minor difference in reward pools to help each one seem even more interesting, perhaps even having different beast tribe guests or something. May even have the primal fights - add a queue so it doesn't explode instantly lol. Could have it award personalized codes for the t shirts off the store but there would be too many to give them out for free and all the shipping, so unfortunately not as classic feeling as if you were in the physical fan fest but it'd be something. CM can also run some art panels and such (would have to be streamed or some sort of weird code to have it push their character's commands through to all spaces on all instances at once though as clearly they couldn't go from instance to instance as there would be too many lol).
Something I've wanted to see for a while was mognet (nice hub for postman quests, and more of them), and in that was a backdoor area for the mog shop (can examine in game content, in game, see prices / etc), and if they developed that system I think they could use it for other FFXIV physical goods in this scenario. Of course if they just want to sell everything "FFVII Remake" then still probably best to send them to the webpage but yeah.. all depends on what they were thinking to show off.
I mean it could get out of hand quickly in scope as I already showed XD lol... but I feel like the cram packed saucer is kind of cute and everyone screaming about what new thing they're adding in the chat even more of that kind of fun wild vibe. Vibe made perfect if they get to designing the outside of the saucer. Would be a special moment, potentially/hopefully haha, when everything is coming to close for the day and you step outside fireworks going off riding the Ferris Wheel with your one true love Barret. :D -
