Job-Specifc emotes?

Alright I was wondering if its possible for Players to have access to older skill animations (Royal Road, Spread, Stella, Apocatastatis, Lagresse, etc) available as Emotes for the specific job, Kinda like how certain mounts have emote versions of actions used with them under specific circumstances.

I feel like the benefits of such emotes would allow players to have further creativity in Group Pose screenshots, as well as meaning that the devs wouldn't have to scrap animations every time they cull skills.

Perhaps as a Job specific tab under the Emote list that changes based on the job perhaps?

I admit, before an expansion hits I frantically take a load of screenshots where I'm using various skills because I don't know what will be leaving that I'll never have a chance to gpose with again :(

Something like your idea would be nice, though with how infamous SQEX is for losing source code I half expect that they no longer have the original animations.

I'm certain some deprecated skills are used by squad members and enemies, so SE could mine those for the missing animations

Ah def, that's a fair point.
And at the very least, if they wanted to just make the library moving forward, just having an in game gpose catalog of all post ShB animations... I wouldn't complain. Those would still be valuable and would add up.

I love and support this so much!

Just give us option to swap specific animations on some actions (Rage of Halone for Royal Authority, Split Shot for Heated Split Shot etc). Some other MMOs allow almost full job customization, so this would be good alternative here.

i miss the aero III animation :(

I just want my non-Heated machinist attack animations.
