Quest completion bug

I have come across where any quests that require a hand over of a key item do not fully complete. Once you hand the key item over, the big text says Quest Completed and also says it on the chat log but for some reason the game is not registering this properly.

The NPCs still have the Green Quest Icon above their heads to complete the quest. When you go to interact with them, they just run the usual dialogue and then quits out of the conversation.

The current quest I am trying it on is There and Back Again (main story quest) and Broadening Horizons (blue quest)

This is a major bug as I am unable to progress through main story.

This seems to be an issue with other quests as well, like "Drowning out the voices" MSQ. Just have to wait for the game devs to do something.

Made a new character and I've ran into the same bug where Quest does not complete once handing over the key item. Quest is Sting in a Bottle.

These are game breaking bugs. Making a new character doesn't seem to help avoid these issues. I hope I will be compensated for the days I'm losing out on.
