Putting a notice ingame for gatherers would be nice

So my idea would be if possible in the future or possible to implement,it’ll be where we select some items that spawn at a certain time and we choose them and then get notify when the node pops and this can be implemented to fish but it won’t tell you the weather because I think that will hard to implement together I think.We can even select it through the HUD to place it where we can see it right.I’m just wanting to see if this idea is liked by the gathering community since they keep implementing stuff to make crafters easier yet we get no love

I forgot to add that you can add a sound you want to hear that it’ll notify you if you have headsets on and you can turn it off so if you go to do dungeons you don’t get notify while in there unless you want too lol

It is nice. I use it occasionally. You can set a one time reminder in your local time, or repeating reminders in Eorzean time. Also you can activate an alarm for unspoiled/legendary nodes once you've gathered from them one time by opening the sub command menu on the item in your gathering log instead of manually setting it up. You can set the alarm to activate a few minutes in advance so you can quickly wrap up what you're doing and travel to the node before it spawns.

Yes, there is a sound that goes with it and a message is displayed in the chat window for those who have sounds disabled.

I usually set it through the gathering log. Default is going off 3 mins before your node pops, which is plenty of time to finish any crafting/gathering task and teleport to the right zone.

It's not that it would be nice, it is nice. This is how you access that option in game.
