FPS Dropping/Micro Crashes?

I've been having an issue recently, post-5.3, involving severe FPS drops. It gets so bad that the game almost "micro crashes," with the little red disconnect icon next to my name.

I've checked CPU temperature, updated Windows 10 and un/reinstalled the game. I run the game in windowed fullscreen mode, with the lowest graphics settings possible.

CPU: Intel Core i5 8250U @ 1.60GHz

Good afternoon and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

We have reviewed the system report and noticed the CPU is below our minimum specifications to play the game. It also looks like your PC has an integrated graphics card. Unfortunately, these aren't officially supported to run the game. While you may have been able to play before, it's not guaranteed that you'll be able to play after every patch.

We do have some more troubleshooting you can try, but you still might have some issues due to not meeting the minimum requirements:

Try closing any other programs/overlays you might have running in tandem with the game.

You can also try a clean boot. Simply open the task manager and select the 'Start up' tab. Disable everything here and restart the PC. This will make sure that no background processes are interfering with the game.
