This has probably been asked but in Castrum Meridianum how do you fire the cannons? I passed it ages ago but occasionally pop back in to earn those Tomestones, and no matter what I do the cannons won’t fire. Same with the pet hotbar for my Armor.
I’ve tried every button combination on PS4 that I can. I can aim it fine, shooting however never works for me.
You might want to check your Character Configuration hotbar settings, there are several configurations for your pet hotbar and I'm pretty sure there's an option that replaces your main hotbar with the pet hotbar while "mounted". This basically turns your main hotbar into the pet hotbar while riding any mount with a special action and while I personally have never tested it I assume this is also the same hotbar used for accessing the cannons.
Yeah, you're supposed to get the pet/mount hotbars replacing your main cross bars. It's a config thing, so try out fiddling with that like Absurdity said.
Firing (and ground targets in general) is simple but not necessarily intuitive.
Interacting with the cannons (hit X, possibly a few times) brings up the firing hotbar. If it's not appearing, try pressing R1 - you may have switched off the setting that brings it up automatically.
Use the "fire" button like a normal hotbar skill with R1+Circle. This brings up the target marker.
You may assume at this point that you hit Circle again to fire, but that just cancels your use of the skill. You need to use X to confirm your shot.
