I still miss my old thm

I miss banish, scourge, shadow sear, aoe drain, and mp siphon. I hope if theres a new magic class they get these and they arent just tossed in some digital dumpster.I also miss all the debuffs but i decided not to list them since i know well get an enfeebling class.

Ugh, yes, I miss when I felt like THM was a unique class to FF. And my water magic... ;_;

Don't miss them at all, Tell me what is the difference between Scourage/Banish and Thunder/Fire ? besides the obvious .. nothing they both do damage and inflict status.

Granted the game is missing poison,dia,bio etc but that will no doubt be added with RDM or something in the future.

I miss that THM had unique skills. It made sense because they dealt with different aspects of magic. Now they're just OtherCNJ.

I like that shadow sear sounded so evil and banish and scourge were dark and light instead of elemental. I do understand that some people like your self do not miss it, but i didn't make a thread called banish is the same thing as thunder, i made a thread about the thm skills i miss.

lol if you actually think CNJ and THM are more similar now than they were before.

The problem with old thaumaturge is that they didn't test like any of its abilities and think "Hmm, this is really, incredibly overpowered." Because it was really broken. The fact that punishing barbs and emulate went live the way they did is embarrassing. Even Sacrifice was just Cure, but way better. They're lucky there was nothing worth killing when the game launched.

I miss using the absorb spells on my glad. It was fun absorbing acc and atk and transfering over to my sisters MRD. I miss that :(.
