Late, but Viera/Hrothgar hats and hair, and what I actually think about the idea.

So, I still don't understand why we can't have the more recent headgear be viewable on Viera/Hrothgar.

If it's with the issue of "clipping" I really don't see why this should be something that holds back the dev team from even making it possible in the first place. I mean, it'd be nice if there would be modeled/texured in ear holes, but I already know that the Viera's ear options are too varrying to even HAVE consistent ear holes, and Hrothgar's head shape + ears are varrying as well, but it's not impossible to stretch out a hat to work on their heads.

Which honestly, that's fine, I (as a Viera player) really just want to wear hats. I don't mind if it's clipping through just to show case the ears! It's seriously not such a big deal, and I think most Viera/Hrothgar players would literally just want to wear hats at this point.

Then there's the odd case of witch/wizard hats. I don't see why we can't just go off of the excuse that their ears are just under the hats since these types of hats tend to be tall and large anyway, which brings back to the fact that stretching out the hats to accomodate for Hrothgar's head shape being completely possible given the already large size. If the witch/wizard hat in question would be shorter than the average witch/wizard hat, then the Viera ears can just clip through (it'd look quite cute actually), while the Hrothgar hats just get mildly stretched out.

No need to go bougie and make different instanced models (although that would be a nice addition in the later future) just give us hats darn it!
