I Broke My Relic Quest

I have been working on A Relic Reborn for the bow on my archer/bard. And I got to the part where you're supposed to go to Halatali and click the Destination while you have the unfinished bow equipped. I forgot to equip it first and I clicked it. It said the Hydra (Hard) was unlocked but it wasn't available in Duty Finder.

I tried leaving the zone and coming back. I thought if it reloaded, maybe I could click it again. No dice.

Then I did something that turned out to be dumb. I thought if I abandoned the quest I could get it from Gerolt again and keep going. But that's apparently not the case for quest lines like this. He gave me the first quest again. Is there any way at all anyone knows that I can get back to the last step without starting over? I'm really disheartened by this.

You can't skip back to the part you were on before abandoning the quest. All of the steps you've done so far have been a part of one single quest.

As for your initial issue of not finding the trial: Did you double-check the trials list? If my memory isn't failing me, "A Relic Reborn: The Hydra" should be just below "A Relic Reborn: The Chimera" in the list.
