Yeah, people leave duties really fast and then complain here (or at least they did when the new mentor requirements were added) that they don't get enough for achievements and such.
Sorry, but I'm not going to stick around in case someone might commend me. I'd rather keep on playing. It also doesn't help that none of the commendation rewards interest me in the slightest.
If people care about comms they will stick around. If they leave quickly it means they probably don't care about the comms, so don't worry yourself over it too much.
I usually comm before rolling on loot, so at least if people stick for loot drops I can comm them. If they leave before the chest is even opened I assume they don't care for loot or comms.
I leave immediately, but I don't really need comms. I'm over 4k at this point.
I try to give someone a commendation before leaving, but a lot of people don't really do that.
I comm fast then leave I got stuff to do.
