LS Management Tools?

Hello!

I'm curious if there has been any mention of revamping the LS Management system. I have not come across any information in regards to updates. Currently, our LS has to break the pearl and recreate it just to remove people. Which can be a logistical mess trying to get members their new pearl.

Any information on this would be appreciated! :D

Gonna go out on a limb here and say... wait for it... coming in 2.0?

Bleh, I'm right there with ya. Having to break and reform just to deal with inactive players is ridiculous.

Yeah probably 2.0 for this. They've stated a few times that apparently the servers are so terrible they can't handle LS commands.

Sucks for them because they're the new team dealing with the absolute *crap* that Tanaka left behind but sucks for us as players because "In 2.0" as a response to everything including even basic stuff like LS management. No idea what previous team were thinking, adding LS without LS commands is like building a remote control plane and forgetting to make the remote -.-;

Hey guys! Thanks for the reply! Yeah, I figured it would be a 2.0 fix. Wishful thinking on my part that this fix would come sooner. =/

Inactive players don't talk why remove them? There is no way to know who's inactive and who is offline. Right now the LS system is simple and straight forward. It would be nice if you could HIDE people you suspect of being offline from the LS member list. Or hide Offline players all together. But removing someone while they are offline just seems very wrong to me.

because the linkshell becomes full with inactive players.

There is so much want/hope that I have for linkshells that I really hope they come though, but the waiting game continues. They've needed to fix this for a while, but other items needed to be fixed first, and now that they have, we'll hopefully see more info soon.

Still, with 1.22 right around the corner, the next patch is 1.23 and we might get something then, but if we don't, then the next patch after that is 2.0 so thankfully we won't have to wait ages.

Been asking for better linkshell management since beta ; ; I really do hope we get /linkshell message in 2.0 & perhaps not having inactive members show up in the list would be better then logging on and seeing something like 4/89 knowing full well you haven't seen at least 15 of those 89 people since we had to start paying to play.
If SE implements offline = do not show up in LS list I think less people would want to get inactive players out of their linkshells since...well.. those greyed out names wouldn't be staring you in the face every time you checked LS list to try to see if people were on for an event.
