This is what keeps coming up when trying to do the quest Release the Hounds. Have no issues with roulettes or other cut scenes just this so far. Last night even did the quest before this one in the MCH line no problems. Was not till today. Even turning off dx11 I still get dx errors. Everything is up to date both windows and nvida drivers.
Just tried the quest again not even a day later now the game hard crashes no error. Would like some idea why this is happening before I even bother to level any other classes cause I have a lot that will need to do story missions for abilities with only a few that are able to get to 80 with out missing out on abilities.

I have done it with nothing else running in the background only FF14 and what else is needed for my PC to run "logitech center for my keyboard and mouse to properly function". Its only this quest that is causing a crash like this.
I think it may be the quest itself now for I noticed going into it only-4 mobs spawn yet the enemy list there are a lot more then what was shown before the game crashes. Today was the first time I didnt get an error window and I have no PC update since shutting down last night and turning on this afternoon.

Dropped quest to see if may be somehow that would work and re-took it this is now showing up yet again. Now with no mobs and there are 6 of those error windows all with the same error codes.

Does the game crash if it is run in windowed mode or borderless fullscreen?

Mainly play in borderless but I did try windowed and does the same thing and crashes.

Have any changes happened to the device before the issue began? We would also like to recommend several other troubleshooting steps:
1) Make sure that your hardware is not overheating and remove any overclocks you may have on your graphics card or processor. Please check that any fans or vents are clear of blocks.
2) Disable any additional programs that could cause interference with the game itself including chat programs. Also, remove any custom configurations made using graphics driver-level programs.
3) Turn off Fullscreen Optimizations. Find the executable file for the game (normally found in the install folder), right-click it and select 'Properties'. Under the 'Compatibility' tab, check the box labeled 'Disable Fullscreen Optimizations', then click 'Apply'.
4) Remove any unnecessary USB or audio devices (controllers, headphones, flash drives etc.)
5) Update and reinstall the drivers for your graphics card
6) Perform a clean boot by opening the task manager and select the 'Start up' Tab. Disable everything

1) My PC is built not store bought. So it runs quite cool in fact so its def not overheating and I refuse to overclock anything for I know it runs the life of the graphics card and motherboard out faster.
2) I have tried window, borderless, Dx11 on and Dx11 off with just FF14 running and each time its either that same error window that pops up or the game just flat crashes. Yet I can do everything else in game with no issues. Im trying to level another class to see if those story missions are just as borked as this one is or if its just the MCH one im on.
3) Oh this is gonna be a treat to mess with gamefiles in such a way. (fyi didnt work still crashed)
4) Everything plugged in I kinda cant take out (keyboard and mouse)
5) I clean install Nvida drivers each time there is an update and the update was almost a week before this happened and did other story missions no problem.
6) You know I want to blow up on you guys so much for suggesting this. I should have looked more into what clean boot is cause now im god damn locked out of my PC for apparently your clean book disable everything locks me out of using PIN code to log in and now im stuck out of my damn PC. I hate you so much for suggesting this now and really debating on canceling my sub before it goes threw or challenging it if I cant fix this now. Thanks for making my day 10000000x worse cause your game is causing Dx11 crashing and im not the only one yet your first go to is our machines yet when telling you eveything else in the game works even MSQ ques which really should not with how they work with cutscences and combat.
