EVERYTHING’S ON THE LINE! SCREENSHOT CONTEST (THE “PROMOTION”) OFFICIAL RULES

KEY RULES

A. Official Rules: The Official Rules for this Promotion consist of both (i) these key rules summarizing the important rules for participating in the Promotion (the “Key Rules”) and (ii) the Additional Promotion Official Rules (“Additional Rules”) applicable to your place of legal residence. Please review the Additional Rules at the following URL:

B. Territories: This Promotion is open only to individuals who are legal residents and physically and permanently located in one of the following countries/territories at the date and time of entry (the “Promotion Jurisdiction”):

• The fifty (50) states of the United States of America, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.
• Canada (excluding Quebec).

C. Age Limit: This Promotion is open only to individuals 13 years of age or older at the date and time of entry.

D. Entry Period: You may enter the Promotion only between Monday, July 27, 2020 at 12:01 a.m. (Pacific Time) and Monday, August 10, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. (Pacific Time) (the “Entry Period”).

E. Entry Procedure and Limitations: In order to enter the Promotion, you must complete the following steps during the Entry Period:

Step One:

• Take a screenshot with the group pose feature while utilizing the screen effect: Saturated Linework (collectively the “Screenshot”).
  • Each entry must contain one (1) Screenshot.
  • The Screenshot may capture characters, minions, or landscapes within FINAL FANTASY XIV.
    • The Saturated Linework screen effect must be visible in the Screenshot.
  • The entrant’s Screenshot may only utilize in-game assets provided within FINAL FANTASY XIV.
  • Entrants may not alter, change, or make edits to any Screenshot taken.

Step Two:

• Submit your Screenshot via the submission form, including the following necessary information on the form (collectively the “Entry”):
  • Character Name (required)
  • Home World Name (required)
  • Entry Title (required)
  • Caption or comment for the Entry (optional)
  • Prize you wish to receive if selected as a runner-up. Selection from one of the following in-game items:
    • Ahriman Choker
    • Bluebird Earring
    • Gaelicap
    • Mandragora Choker
    • Noble Barding
    • Scarf of the Wondrous Wit
• Attach one (1) Screenshot taken in step one (required)
• Submit your Entry.

Additional Entry Limitations:

• One (1) Entry per person. If multiple Entries submitted by the same entrant are posted, only the last Entry submitted will be considered.

F. Winner Selection: The Sponsor (listed below), or Sponsor’s designee, shall select ten (10) grand prize winners and ninety (90) runner-up winners from among all entries using the following methodology:

The Sponsor or Sponsor’s designee will judge the Entries based on a) overall quality of the Screenshot, b) overall composition of the Screenshot, c) creative use of the Saturated Linework screen effect, d) originality of the Screenshot and overall Entry.

G. Prize(s): Each winner shall receive each of the following prize(s):

• Ten (10) grand prize winners shall each receive the following:
  • One (1) Modern Aesthetics – Strife (an in-game Final Fantasy XIV item with no monetary value); and
  • One (1) of the following prizes of their choosing:
    • One (1) Ahriman Choker (an in-game Final Fantasy XIV item with no monetary value)
    • One (1) Bluebird Earring (an in-game Final Fantasy XIV item with no monetary value)
    • One (1) Gaelicap (an in-game Final Fantasy XIV item with no monetary value)
    • One (1) Mandragora Choker (an in-game Final Fantasy XIV item with no monetary value)
    • One (1) Noble Barding (an in-game Final Fantasy XIV item with no monetary value)
    • One1) Scarf of Wondrous Wit (an in-game Final Fantasy XIV item with no monetary value)
• Ninety (90) runner-up winners shall each receive one (1) of the following prizes of their choosing:
  • One (1) Ahriman Choker (an in-game Final Fantasy XIV item with no monetary value)
  • One (1) Bluebird Earring (an in-game Final Fantasy XIV item with no monetary value)
  • One (1) Gaelicap (an in-game Final Fantasy XIV item with no monetary value)
  • One (1) Mandragora Choker (an in-game Final Fantasy XIV item with no monetary value)
  • One (1) Noble Barding (an in-game Final Fantasy XIV item with no monetary value)
  • One (1) Scarf of Wondrous Wit (an in-game Final Fantasy XIV item with no monetary value)

Sponsor will deliver the selected prize to winner(s) by or about Monday, August 31, 2020.

H. Winner Notification: Sponsor, or Sponsor’s designee, will notify winner(s) by or about Friday, August 21, 2020 via email, and/or in-game via the Moogle Mail.

A few screenshot entry winners may be showcased via the DUTY COMMENCED community stream on or around Friday, August 21, 2020.

A collection of the 100 eligible winning entries may be posted to the FINAL FANTASY XIV Facebook page on or around Friday, August 21, 2020.

I. Sponsor: The sponsor of this Promotion is Square Enix, Inc.

By entering the Promotion, you agree to be bound and abide by these Key Rules and the Additional Rules applicable to your place of legal residence, and you represent that you satisfy all eligibility requirements to enter the Promotion.

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS PROMOTION. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. YOU MUST HAVE LEGALLY ACQUIRED ACCESS TO FINAL FANTASY XIV PRIOR TO THE LAUNCH OF THE PROMOTION.
