Basement Doors in Haukke Manor

Anyone have any guesses why the only disproportionate furniture are the doors in the basement? who can actually reach the key holes???

It was originally built for the seedseers, who are padjali. Though it is possible that it was remodelled once Lady Amandine moved in.

The locking mechanism is that high up because the manufacturer also sells stepladders—"Can't reach the keyhole? Just buy one of our stepladders!"
One has to wonder just how effective those cells even are, though, with gaps in the bars big enough for grown men to slip through.

Bigger doors are fancier and they didn't think the locking mechanism through when they upscaled.
