I would like to have an option in the game to leave the toggle button for character display mode permanently 'on' in the gear preview screen. Having to turn it on all the time to zoom, rotate, or pan my character when looking at gear is just annoying. To my knowledge, there isn't currently a way to do this (yes, I looked into it of course).
