I could use your help

My question is, is it better to log out of the game, app completely closed, before I buy mogstation items?

I've bought from the mogstation before but I have a paranoia that my stuff won't get to me, or will take longer to get to me, if I'm still logged into the game while I buy items off the cash shop.

Any info on this is appreciated or any mogstation info at all, ty.

no need to do it, it takes anywhere between a minute and 10 for mogstation to communicate it with the server, it does it automatically, but you can always go to a moogle and keep spamming the retrieve recent items
i started an alt yesterday and after clearing out my inbox full of ye olde rewards. i started levelling, my carby mount didn't come for another few minutes

Yeah, no need to log out. You can buy an item then do something else like a FATE, and it should appear even before you finish it.

Ty guys for the info, if anyone has any other info on anything mogstation related feel free to post it cause I'm fairly new to ordering things online, I grew up without all this techno stuff.

To add, items purchased that are for one character will tend to show up faster than items that are "account wide".

Yeah, the account wide ones I find can take anywhere from 15 minutes to a couple hours to show up. I tend to just go about my day and when it shows up it shows up.

There is a button in your mogmail inbox to request delivery.
It basically asks the server to check if there's anything on the way and if so, send it.

Though this won't save you from the couple of hours for account wide items.

Also make sure you have your mailbox as empty as you can possibly get it. I've had an issue in the past where someone sent me a gift, but because I hit the 20 inbox limit from messages from friends who mailed me maps to hold onto, it messed with it a good bit.
