Caps Lock key won't work

The caps lock on my keyboard isn't working but it does when I close out the game. I've tried looking through the Character/System Configuration settings as well as the Keybinds, but can't find anything. I even tried buying a new keyboard but the problem still persists.

I'm on PS4.

Is the Caps Lock key assigned to another function on the PS4 system?

It isn't assigned to another function as far as I can tell. It works when I start up another game entirely and it works even on the login screen for FFXIV. The only place it doesn't work is in-game and I've tried checking the keybinds but it isn't assigned to anything there. I've tried asking my friend if their Caps Lock key works in-game and they've said it works normally.

Is the Caps Lock key not working in chat? Or are you trying to use the key elsewhere in-game?
