Benefits of a new character - suggestion!

Hi there!

I would love to level another character, but it is hard, because I want to stick with my main, or I want it to have some benefits from doing a new one.

What if there was an achievement, for example a title, or a mountif I level up 2 of the same jobs on one account? Or playing through the main story twice?

With 5.3 getting closer, and the realm reborn quests will be better, I would really love to do the quests again.
How cool would that be, if something showed, that I have 2 characters, which finished it?

I would love to grind for those achievements, and I would really love to start the jobs from the very beginning again, with a new character, knowing that it will really worth the time.

Could it be a content in the game? :D

One of the really good benefits of having multiple characters at end-game is that you make twice the amount of weekly tomes per week (since you get 450 on one character, and 450 on the other). If you play it well, you can gear up a different job on each character simultaneously (ie, I gear DRG on my main and AST on my alt). Having two level 80 characters at end game is a lot of work, especially getting the secondary character there in the first place, but for my own purposes it was very worth it.

As for adding rewards for having two characters and doing various feats... idk. My only worry about that is that it'd become very pay to win (depends heavily on the achievements) because the mogstation sells both story skips and level boosts, which would cut out 90% of the work.

The game doesn't seem to be able to recognise separate characters as linked even if they're on the same account.

If they were going to give you anything special for completing the story twice, it would be tied to NG+.
