5.2+ General PvP and Feast Feedback Thread

Hi everyone,

With the constant updates and changes for PVP provided by SE, we are making a centralized thread for feedback regarding the Feast. Currently there is a lack of feedback from the western community on the Official Forums and we'd like to have our voices heard, this is a community effort across multiple discords in NA/EU to provide PVP feedback on Official Forums.

We hope the following feedback can be brought to the attention of the dev team and encourages the player base to become more active on the forums.

The first few posts will be the some of the most agreed on feedback from our Discord incentive.

More transparency on the direction of PVP from SE would be helpful. So far most PVP changes have drastically been implemented, with no previous announcement, leaving players confused and unable to contest changes before they occur(Heavy/Light Medals, no 24-man FL, no 8-man premades, no idea of job changes, no knowledge of a start date for the next season of Feast, etc.). Leaving players in the dark instills hopelessness, an idea of SE's lack of caring about a portion of its community, and turns away new players when they ask questions and all we can do is say ""I don't know"".
Better communication on the direction of PVP from SE, dedicated PVP team or individual (mentioned in multiple feedback posts!)

Currently "The Feast" only has one map that is being played. Bringing back older maps, even if adjusted and/or optimized, would bring more variety to the experience as players are experiencing fatigue due to seeing the same map for multiple years. Creating new maps to add into the rotation works too, but to ease development of other things, the older maps could possibly offer an easier alternative to fix the same fatigue players are having.

Please set PvP-specific requirements to become a PvP Mentor in game. A set amount of (Ranked) Feast, Frontline and Rival Wings games played. It only makes sense, as you would want players who can sign up to be a PvP Mentor to be at least somewhat knowledgeable on the content since the same applies to PvE as well.

Add more helpful quick chat commands like, ""Ready to Burst"", ""Regroup"", ""CC Ready"", ""Sorry"", ETC and also add small descriptions to those commands to tell players the purpose of these quick chat commands since most new players don't know how to use the countdown command correctly.

If possible, do not release the start of a PVP season on the same patch of major content if possible to not split the community between PVP and PVE. Have a regular season schedule, alternating between solo and team seasons, not based on patch versions but (more or less) fixed season lengths. Understandable that seasons will be "down" around major events (like expansion releases) but 3+ month droughts are not a good thing. Prevent large gaps between seasons.

Feast should have an introductory session, questline, or PVP Hall of Novice before being thrown into Feast, to have a better understanding of their surroundings (explanation of adrenaline boxes/wolf heart) and the chat commands that they can use for communication. Also suggest setting a minimum requirement of training matches needed before jumping into ranked feast.

PvP skills should be flat dmg not a random potency number that can vary up to 10%. RNG is not very good for competitive modes.

Achieving a certain rank should unlock all the achievements titles for the ranks that fall below it, retroactively as well.

Making Top 100 rewards, such as the armor sets and the mounts, account-wide items.
