Eternal bond troubles
Hello!
So to keep it short, me & my partner probably missed our wedding time (no guests).
I wanted to ask dev team to make the Eternal bond information more specific on the requirements, for example: is the blank invitation item a must have to attend your own invitation & if so, why can you toss it away too early, before even completing the event.
Other question I have, why is the reservation made so awkward to use, it doesn't specify if only 1 person make the reservation & what time does the event happen. Just stating "earth time" doesn't help anybody at all, the game should display the information for you IN-GAME & it should also do the same for all possible maintenance times.

Congrats on your engagement! (even if you missed the original time).
To answer your first question, no the blank invitation is only for creating invites to give out to people to attend, the item that is crucial is your Promise Bracelet must be kept safe in your inventory and equipped when you both speak to the npc to enter the ceremony.
The 'earth time' thing is because it automatically adjusts the time to your own real-life time zone based on what your console/computer's system time is set for (this also goes for the Invitations will automatically adjust the time shown for your ceremony based on their time zone). SE uses the term 'Earth Time' to differentiate your system's time from 'Server Time' (which is UTC) and 'Eorzea Time' (the in-universe game-world time that is much much faster than real time).
The allowance for maintenance times is because SE can often call emergency maintenence if a serious fault or bug with the game is identified and the game needs to be taken offline quickly to fix, and as maintenance resets ceremony bookings as well as the fact the ceremony is instanced, it could trap you between 'worlds' so to speak with no way out, so they want to avoid that possibility by simply blocking off those potential maintenance windows to ceremony bookings. I agree it could be mentioned in a little less confusing manner, but as least it's not legal largesse.

The couple does need their blank invitations to attend the ceremony: https://www.finalfantasyxiv.com/eter...?lng=en&rgn=na
"When the scheduled time for your ceremony arrives, both you and your partner, along with any guests in attendance, may enter the venue by speaking with Etoinelle. Please be reminded that only those who possess an invitation may attend the ceremony. This requirement also extends to you and your partner, who must be in possession of your blank invitations."
