Hide + Trick attack is super punishing to use inside Feast the map is so small, ranged have super long range so they can break you out of it really easy.
Then you have the problem actually reaching the target without being hit by Aoe attacks.
Why was trick attack nerfed to 15% when it's so much trouble to even pull it off? :mad:
Phantom dart is 20% dmg to everything and it's 1 button insta cast. :confused:
Everyone and their nan can break hide now easily and hide has a CD. I wouldn't argue with having some kind of immunity window when entering it, it's the same for stealth in most other games so why is it such a pain in this one?
If one more person tells me "muh skillcap" I'll remind them what game they're playing. The job has been a constant gimmick that SE don't know what they want it to be in PvP because every job outtrades you 1on1 and you're literally supposed to open, do a metric ton of damage in 3 GCDs and run. That's why the gauge builds so fast and it comes with a steroid attack speed buff, a silence and bunshin. Your only (weak) defensive literally requires you to run, if that doesn't tell you how they think Ninja to be played odk what will. But when your reset is so unreliable it's like, why bother, just play Dragoon and stay out as long as you want. Healer died? Who cares, you don't need a healer!

Hide should be its own thing separate from trick attack. They should add a new pvp skill: suiton - which is the water move ninjas do on a long cd to allow trick attacks use on gcd which would allow for easier use but also being a fairer tell to counter it, i feel thats fair.
