Hello, to keep this short I thought we could help out by suggesting things you might want to see designed for furniture in the house.
Esoteric ideas:
Reflection of character's classes and jobs:
For example, it would be great to have some sort of way to display your armor and not just have it hidden away. If you're a conjurer, it would be great to have some sort of representation of the magical effects you possess.
Reflections of character's accomplishments: Just kill Moogle-mog. How about a moogle pillowcase to complement your bed?
Practical ideas:
Fish tanks and accessories galore
Crafting area with special equipment to boost crafting stats
Gameplay ideas:
Player store area:
Customize the look of your retainer's stalls, have them remain in/near your house/store, and also have them linked to the AH. Allow players to frequent your store so that strong establishments between sellers and purchasers can exist beyond who is 1 gil cheaper, and so you can show off your housing accomplishments to the world!
