It's a friend of mines birthday and I want to get him a time card so he can play again. He logged in during the free login campaign. He is on PS4, not PC. I need to confirm that if I got the "PC Download" version of the digital card from the SQEX store that he could still redeem it for his account via Mog Station and use it for PS4. If not, I need to know if there is an alternative way to do this. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I played on both PS4 and PC, and the time cards I bought from gamestop (as well as amazon and squeenix store) work exactly the same with the same functions, so long as his account is NOT a Entry subscription (as the account MUST be on a Standard subscription model to use game time cards).Quote:

Standard = 8 Characters per server, 40 total. (this means also allowing to delete characters under any server with this subscription).
Entry = 1 Character per server, 8 total. (Entry cannot delete characters from a world, once it's been created. You must be on a standard sub to use that feature) -

Yes he can use the PC Code also for the PS4 Version. There are no seperate Gametime Cards for PC and PS4. Gametime is shared across plattforms.

The only thing you have to be careful with is region-locking.
I have had good luck with Amazon for those cards, but they sent me an EU region one this month, which has been fun trying to get resolved.
