Blm Help

So I'm a little confused about the Black Mage Aoe rotation now that Freeze is included in it. Only level 60 gonna level to 70 tomorrow.

Fire 2 spam, flare, convert, flare, then freeze ?
|This is soo confusing please help.

Now, I just came back this week to the game again so I dunno if anything has changed.
But from what I remember it's Freeze - Sharpcast - Thunder IV - F3 - Double Flare and then repeat ( with Manafont and insta casts for faster casts and triple Flare etc ).
And you should ofc weave Sharpcast.

fire 2 is not worth it even at the lvl you get freeze

With your opener, assuming manafont is off CD and you have an ether on your bar that at least restores 800 mp you can squeeze out 4 flares before going into the standard. Just use Swiftcast and Triple cast appropriately and watch those mobs go down to half health almost instantly.

Okay I know it's Freeze spam from 35 to 50 and I know the AoE rotation from 68 and beyond. But what is the actual AoE rotation from 50 (when you get Flare) until 68 (when you can double Flare)?

Fire 2 loses out against Freeze in damage because of the transition between Umbral Ice and Astral Fire, Fire 2 itself does more damage than Freeze. Since I have to change to Astral Fire anyway for Flare is it worth using Fire 2?

Freeze > Thunder 2 / 4 > Fire 3 > Fire 2 > Fire 2 > Fire 2 > Flare

or

Freeze > Thunder 2 / 4 > Fire 3 > Flare

Or is it Freeze Spam and I only change to Astral Fire when Manafont is up so I can double Flare?
