"job adjustsments" from the live letter speculations

The last live letter confirmed, that we will get job adjustments.
Do you guys think we will get ANYTHING healer related? and if yes, what do you think it will most likely be.
Given SE's track record, i dont expect much, but maybe, just maybe they took the feedback they got to heart and we will see at least some chages.

Personally i expect that they will buff AST some more (purely on the healing side probably) and maybe they will try to un-bug SCH faery but somehow make it worse.
WHM will get a token changes like 1 second more regen duration.

What are your predictions? Or what are your hopes?

I expect nothing. SE has lost my faith in healers. At most, I expect potency adjustments.

I honestly hope not, considering AST solo heals content no other healer is capable of.

More to the point, healer balance is pretty good right now. Thanks to the 5.1 buffs - AST+SCH is, on average, the strongest combo, but only by a small margin... so WHM is still considered viable. Just for one expac, I hope SE doesn't decide to buff AST+SCH back into orbit yet again.

QoL to make cards, etc more pleasant to use? Sure. Make as many QoL changes as it takes takes to make the job likeable. But I really hope SE doesn't touch the current balance.

inb4 someone looks at only the max parse and uses that as an argument to buff

Most times it feels like this: WHM gets nothing (because a lot of people play it so it must be perfectly fine). SCH gets a dps potency increase. AST will get a DPS and healing potency increase, plus at least one spell will be a few MP cheaper.

Faerie bugs stay as they aren't able to fix them before the next expansion, cards stay like they are OR Sleeve Draw gets a CD reduction so that you will have to switch between targets even more often.

I don't expect anything from the dev team at this point until 6.0, they've been ignoring us too much time.

It is with the utmost hope we get all these issues the very least adressed and "Please understand"-ed, that the developers see we want our jobs to have fun cores and see that evolve like for example Black Mage, not rebuilt and regressed as has been going on for two expansions in a row, but we are approaching the point where this seems more like a psychological test as SE is now just seeing how far they can push us into insanity.

Using my powers of clairvoyance and SE's unhealthy obsession with balance, my bet is that the PvE and PvP job adjustment tables will be impossible to tell apart: some numbers will go up some go down and the amount of Broil/Malefic/Glare presses will remain unchanged.

I see no significant job adjustments at all, monk will continue to be least played job and healers will continue as they are. For the future they should aim to give the same treatment to all job as they did with black mage, making their kit good and not filled with useless skills. Even tho we all want some jobs to be a lot more interesting to play that will not happen, I think significant changes will only be done in the next expansion where they will mess up healers again.

I honestly don't foresee any changes for healers, positive or negative, because what healers need is more work than they'll put in a patch. Devs will shake things up again for healers in 6.0, and they will add a fourth heal job. People will go nuts, balance will be entirely out of whack until 6.2...

I'm not sure I can predict as well on account of ditching my Ast when 5.0 dropped, but I'm fairly certain we will get one to three of the following

1. Another unneccesary nerf to holy
2. Sch changes supposedly to make it less clunky but makes it worse
3. Another unhealthy buff to Sch and Ast potencies to try and delay more people leaving the jobs.
4. A nerf to Blood lily
5. Meagre buff to ast's nocturnal sect that's not enough to close the gap between diurnal sect
6. Refusal to acknowledge healing boredom or apologise for it
