Be realistic. They are doing this for the sake of the game, not me, not you, not Joex4560. The longer servers are down the more chance for players to try another MMO and get hooked. People are easily distracted and pulled away. If they lose to many players people get laid off, maybe not the whole team, but some people at least.
This is overall a smart move, a week or two of working in a hot/cold office vs people possibly having to spend months looking for a new job. -
