I'm a member of an FC that is no longer active. I have inherited FC lead and was curious if there are any in-game restrictions to demo-ing the plot and taking it for myself? This may seem like a silly request, but I wasn't sure if there's some hidden rule that restricts FC leads from relocating to the plot or something like that.

You cant unless you already have a private house.
An Fc home cant be turned to a private house, youd have to relinquish it and move from an private house to it, as the random timer would prevent you from just buying it.
You got 2 options, which are
-Give up the plot, move quickily from your private house to there.
-Stay in an 1 person FC (or start a new one with it) -

Option 1 is what I was referring to. I want to demo the current FC house and relocate my private house to the plot. I wasn't sure if there was an internal rule that prevented me from doing so. I didn't want to demo the house and try to relocate to it just to see some message saying "The FC Leader can not relocate to this plot yet." or something like that. You answered my question though, thank you.

But make sure you can store all your items in your storage. If all the stuff you got in your house and garden wont fit in each storage, you cant move it and might miss the chance. Also you still need to buy the new plot.

So yeah, you should be able to take it for yourself without issue, just be sure you have the funds for it I guess.
