A System Error has occurred: 6 // HTTPS System Error

Installing 14 on a new PC which I have just had fixed up. Am looking to install the client, but am repeatedly getting the following error upon Client launch (just after initial install)

A System Error has occurred: 6
HTTPS System Error

I have searched this, and there are many threads on both Reddit and here suggesting things like Whitelisting the program on Antivirus/Firewall, Clearing temporary IE cache, etc. - none of these things are working (or I am not doing them correctly)

Hoping for a helpful fix on this. Keen to get the game going on my new PC.

You are likely running into a configuration error with Internet Explorer, since the game uses this to connect to the internet.

Open Internet Explorer, then open the "Tools" setting, go to "Internet Options" and adjust the following settings:
- Under the "General" tab, please delete ALL browser history.
- Under the "Security" tab, please move the slider to the lowest possible settings or no higher than "Medium"
- Under the "Privacy" tab, click “Advanced” and select ‘Accept’ under both First Party and Third Party Cookies.
- Under the "Advanced" tab, please make sure that "Allow software to run or install even if signature is invalid" is CHECKED.
- Make sure that all SSL and TLS (EXCEPT SSL 3.0) are CHECKED. [SSL 3.0 should be UNCHECKED]
- Hit "Apply" to save the settings, and then "OK, to close the Internet Options menu.

Thanks for your initial response. My computer's default browser is Microsoft Edge, not IE - the settings are therefore quite different, and I can't find at least half of what you've suggested in the tabs. The computer does not have IE on it. Please advise.

While not the default browser, Internet Explorer would still have been installed with Windows 10. It should still appear when searching on the Start Menu. If it does not, it may need to be downloaded an installed again.
