What do I do?

I have a few DoL and DoH to like 10-12ish. I never do them and now I really to level these up. I heard there was changes in 5.1 or 5.2 but what do I do. Do I just do crafting log? Even if example ive done all the 10-15 or however it is. What do I focus on to keep getting max xp?

I read a random article that gathering is automatic but im so lost. Someone help lol.

The crafting log is good, yes. I also recommend working on the Ishgard Restoration Project, and the Diadem.

When it comes to crafting, what I normally do is farm a lot of mats for the easiest, highest level crafting recipe at my disposal, then I Quick Synthesize the heck outta of it.

As for gathering being automatic, whenever you select a gathering node, you should see a box in the lower-left corner. Click on that before choosing the mat you wish to gather, and it will automatically gather them for you. I hope this helps, and I wish you the best of luck!

Grand Company deliveries can be worth 1-3 levels a day depending on quality and if it's an item in need (indicated by the star.

As long as you've completed the 3.3 MSQ, Ishgard Restoration starts at 20 for crafters and I think gatherers can enter Diadem at 17 (not positive on that number).

Levequests.

Collectibles starting at level 50.

Custom Deliveries starting at level 60 (though you can turn in to Zhloe with a level 55 job once unlocked, there's a limit per week).

Facet delivery quests starting at level 70 (XP and scrip are good but the quest chains also a one time deal, they aren't repeatable).

As Magnai said, working on the crafting and gathering logs is also good since you get bonus XP for first time craft/gather of an item.

For crafting there are also beast tribes.

ARR, Ixal. N. Shroud. Quest starts at serpent HQ. One of the better storylines in the game BTW.

HW, Moogles, Churning Mist. I forget where the quest starts.

SB, Namzu, Azam steppe. Requires quests in Yanxia. They do gathering too.

For your disciples of the hand, look at the crafting log and your local guild vendor, most items up to level 20, the guild vendor has the needed materials for. so you can craft 1 of each which generate a lot of xp from first time crafting. AAfter that it easy mode going to ishgard and than the foundation for restoration project. Gathering basically same, do your job quest and maybe few leves quests than jump to ishgard for quick and easy levels
