Received extra Writ of Commendation, can't get rid of it

Steps:
After placing Top 12 in Armorer rankings for the Ishgardian Restoration season on Ultros I received a GM mail containing the Writ of Commendation and Writ of Beatification items which I used to receive the seasonal achievements.

The next day I received another GM mail containing an additional Writ of Commendation, presumably because I also placed in the top 100 of the Botanist rankings.

I took the additional Writ of Commendation but because I already have the achievement it grants, I cannot use the item, and it also cannot be discarded or otherwise removed from my character's items. So it is wasting an inventory slot with a useless item that I can't use or get rid of.
