Post your Diadem experience

I thought I try something different, and post positive fun times in the diadem

If Limsa was trade chat, /sh in The Diadem feels like The Barrens. I find myself transported a decade into the past. I love it.

Diadem chat most always just makes me laugh. I enjoy diadem, get into a good groove gathering, just relaxing. I do wish we had instanced housing and could have the special weathers for our own. I would love to have Umbral Levin as my weather all the time.

The Diadem is my playground! My first reaction mirrored my character's when she looks at the Hrothgar blasting a Golem with the 'zooka! Little did I know that I was entering content I would undoubtedly be spending a massive amount of time in.

I never ventured into the previous Diadem, so I can't talk about how much I enjoy the changes. What I do know is that I really enjoy crafting and gathering, and how this content is set up is perfect for me. Everything operating in multiples of 10 along with nodes giving random spoils and being able to utilize all of my crafters sets off my OCD big time, and since it is nearly impossible to 'break even' while processing the mats; it basically perpetuates what I enjoy doing in the game most.

I like seeing that I don't meet the requirements for the major node bonuses in there, and that gives me something to strive for as well. Since I try to hold off on instant gratification and take care of my chores before playtime, I find myself doing things like roulettes and custom deliveries before allowing myself into the Diadem. Because once I am in there, I plan on being in there for a long time and disruptions just will not do.

I went back to Foundation and converted all my stuff to usable stuff. I sell it all...

Good times :)
It was honestly a lot of fun, even if it was grindy.

Hello fellow Barrens chat survivor! Glad I'm not the only one getting those vibes.

Chat is usually fun on Aether, I really like zoning out in there. Once someone was asking for easy meals to make for their family and a bunch started listing off recipes...some of which I saved. :)

But then there are times the entire chat is just about feet for 20 mins, so ymmv.

Took every crafter role from 20-80 exclusively through diedem gathering into ishgard crafting.

Everytime it got quiet in chat I could just shout "waffles > pancakes" and enjoy lovely conversation for the next several hours.
