I'm more bothered by the fights with a jail. XD
gotta say i would be against this for content one addon back (so stormblood content currently) as even unsynched old primal fights for example still pose some "challenge" (even if that is just in a "shouldn't necessarely farm mounts solo" way), anything farther back though ? sure why not, as long as its not simply to hard to do do to spaghetti code or whatever than go ahead, its indeed pretty sad seeing say ifrit just sitting at 0,1% for twenty seconds to afterwards die in a single hit
That's how it used to work. Do you have any idea how often parties, even unsynced, wiped to ARR primals? Those phases are there to force players to not skip straight past the wipe mechanic and getting roasted. Can't tell you how many times I've seen Ifrit's Nails spawn, despawn, and we're all forced to watch our impending doom.
Most likely that would involve having to do extra coding work on the fight mechanics instead of just being "the same thing but with level restrictions turned off".
I'd be surprised if they even can turn it off only when you're unsynched.
Was trying to farm the mount in Ala Mhigo with friends the other day, and gotta say that place needs this treatment. We had Xenos down to .01% and he still made us go through the whole teather phase, then the swords adds before letting us kill him. Would have been nice if we could just kill him. There's no reason that we had to do all those time wasting mechanics because he just refused to die.
no, remove unsync from the game instead.
I remember when ifrit doesn't have invuln phase and we straight up wipe if we do too much damage on him...
