Kobol Glider?

Hi everyone,

I hope you have a great, safe and healthy time during this cirisis.
I don't know if the idea has ever been mentioned but coming to this beautiful game and loving it more than I ever loved.. the game I played before.. even after all this time there is one thing I really really miss..
I'd love if it was possible to implement it but so far everything I read and heard about the games engine it might not even be possible.. due to how positioning works..
I wonder if its possible to implement some sort of "Glider" you know.. like from a certain other game.. So I can dismount in air and glide to the place I want to :D
I always loved that.. and altough it had like 20% of disconnecting you I always used it..

So has this suggestion been made before?
Anyone know if its even possible?
