Ps4 and pc, some questions about an account

I've been thinking about getting a pc copy of shadowbringers so I can play on my laptop on the off chance a friend of mine who I've leant my ps4 to is quarintined, but I'm struggling to find answers to a few questions

If I was to obtain a pc copy to compliment my ps4 copy, would I need to pay twice for subscription to the same service account?

Which region would I need to purchase the copy for? my account is in the uk but my characters are on adamantoise in the US

I have a security token for my ps4 account, will it be compatible with my pc version?

You'd need to by an EU copy of the game as that's where your account is. The server you play on is inconsequential.

Only one subscription needed, you just need to have bought a copy of the game as the same expansions as you have on PS4.

Not sure about the security token.

You can have both a PS4 and a PC version (Windows OR Steam, cant have both Windows and Steam) of the game registered on your service account.
Since you pay the subscription for your service account, you wouldnt have to pay twice - you simply register the PC-version, telling the game "Hey, I can play you on PC now!"

It doesnt matter on what server you're playing in regards to your service account, so stick with the UK-version.

Your security token should be compatible - its really just loging in from a different maschine, basically.

The only thing you need to think about is: PC-version or Steam-version. Once you pick one, you're locked into that for playing on PC, the PS4 isnt affected, obviously. Meaning you would have to buy all expansions through Steam and go through the Steam log in on top of the regular one. From all I've read I wouldnt recommend getting the Steam-version, personally.

Just as Vidu said it only matter what version on the pc u want.

I own it both on my Ps4 and Pc square store version with no problem

Just a note if you have additional retainer, pay via credit card and buy an additional license: the newly added license will give you 30 days of playtime which SE's accounting system will deduct first when the time for monthly renewal comes. This will *not* trigger retainer payment as it is linked to your subscription payment. You have to rehire them again after this happens to trigger payment ...

You need purchase in same region as your account. Where your characters are, is irrelevant.

The security token is not tied to the purchased platform.

As a note, because I am lazy to read the previous posts thoroughly, the cool thing about going from PS4 to PC is I do believe you get a free month sub out of it if you haven't bought the keys for PC yet. Your token will be usable on both platforms as well. Just make sure your friend has their own copy :)
