Help with In Game Instance Issue

To make this short, I was doing the storyline quest in Gridania, and I was at the part where its instanced, and your at the Archer's Guild. You go into the forest, Khrimm has set a tree on fire, and you fight the elemental with a party. I died. Now I have no idea how to reset the quest so I can continue.

If this is in the wrong place, I apologize. I need some direction, just the same.

I figured it out. I ended up tracing back the npc's i talked to leading up to the non estent NPC at the quest marker. Found one with the correct option, and off we go again.
