Is there a hint of a future job according to this character (spoilers)?

Gaia's hammer, we expecting something soon like Time Mage or whatever she is exactly?

Here is hoping will get a Whip Wielder too.

The guest character designer didn't know that 14 doesn't have a hammer-wielding combat job. It was basically an accident.

Mind you, I'd love a hammer job, but Gaia's not really an indication of anything to come.

I'd have to say if Gaia was hinting at anything it would be Geomancer again consindering her name and what happans after each phase of raid+the hammer

I want a time mage, but I don't think she's a hint at a new job.

There have also been hints of a shapeshifting class as well, if you look at what an amaro says when it comes to soldiers changing into beasts, then there’s a fate in Lakeland that hints to it.

This, they covered it during one of the last fanfests where they basically admitted it was a mistake and that they had a bit of a hard time justifying the hammer. Pretty sure the VOD is still up on their twitch account if anyone wants to take a peak themselves, and I know reddit has at least archived the slide thread where translators wrote out everything that happened in English that also contains that particular bit of information.

That said it's been around a year since then, so who knows if they changed their minds or not.

Yes SE please make a job where I can stop having Dancer parties or raids where like 10 DPS are dancers.

I don't see how that counts as hinting as a class, unless everything that ever happens in the story is a hint at a class.

Nero and Godbert Manderville use hammers...what's the big deal exactly? I don't see how it's a "mistake" when there are already other characters that use hammers. /shrug

She comes off like one of the time sorceress' from FF8- I figure a weapon such as a hammer would just be to add a flair to her--- never mind the gorgeous long hair she has that we'll most likely never see released to players.

Maybe BLM will get a Sorceress/Sorcerer option & be given void/time spells & water spells?
