Familiar Faces

Hey,

I was on the wrong class and died after taking the flight to Cloudtop in Familiar Faces. The Quest NPCs have moved to Cloudtop but I had yet to take the Ok' Zundu aetherite. Trying to get there from Camp Cloudtop didn't work, unable to get there from the Airship Ticketer in Ishguard. Can't abandon the quest as its MSQ.

Any ideas anyone?

I think there's another person you can talk to at the airship landing? An Ironworks employee?

If not, check the "exit gates" at the far end of the landing and see where they lead.

One of the NPCs for sure will still send you there. Sorry i dont remember their name. If you cant find them, see if you can get a friend or someone with a 2-seater mount to fly you there from cloudtop.

I'm pretty certain the NPC you have to speak to is wearing Garlond Ironworks attire (doublet in bright blue and grey with the orange Ironworks logo on their shoulders and goggles) that you have to specifically speak to to use the special airship route to the Blue Window in the Sea of Clouds (the 'normal' airship route from Ishgard to the other citystates is disabled until you finish HW's story).

This npc should have appeared from the moment you appeared in the Blue Window during the main scenario specifcally for this reason (an Ironworks banner also appeared in the Blue Window which allows you access back to Ishgard in the same way).

EDIT: just checked in game and the npc is indeed at the Airship Dock in the Pillars of Ishgard - it's a Sunseeker miqo'te in Ironworks attire named L'khonebb (The Pillars map coordinates X:14.1;Y:20.9), she doesn't have a special nameplate identifying her as anything special though so that's probably why she's overlooked. Either way, speak to her and she will ask if you want to travel to the Blue Window, which is where you need to go. Accept and you'll immediately travel back to there. :D
