I know this has been brought up a few times over the years with little fanfare but how can we get some proper eyes on this issue?
The issue is that the games allows you to click target using either the right or left mouse buttons, the issue is that most people use the right click button and hold to move their camera around, but if the game doesn't pick that up as a click and hold or you go to move your camera but decide not to fully commit, then you will probably re-target to whatever you mouse cursor is currently on (usually other party members).
This has been extremely frustrating since day 1. Is there any way we could get a configuration toggle that disables right click targeting functions? Every other function can stay bound to right click....we just need the option to disable specifically the targeting function bound to this button.

03-13-2020, 03:00 PMLadonYes but both LMB and RMB are bound to target/element click selection functions. The left mouse button is used for target/UI element click selection. The right mouse button is used for context menus and also as a redundant click selection bind. No reason you couldn't bind click selection to LMB only and take it off RMB while maintaining the contextual interaction options of RMB.Quote:

It's sort of like a web browser interface designed were a single LMB click on a hyperlink sends you to the link where a single RMB click on the hyperlink also sends you to the hyperlink...then bring up a context menu for you for whatever reason. It's a redundant function that causes a major hindrance. -

Yeah, it's really annoying especially after you rotated the camera and it selected your party member without you realizing it. After that, I kinda wonder why the heck my skill didn't go off.
