Please Remove Housing Timers During the Covid-19 Epidemic

I know a lot of you will be logged in, but not everyone is lucky enough to have a forgiving employer in this time of the epidemic. Some people are really skeptical and in denial, or they just don't care.

I'm asking on behalf of everyone in Seattle, NYC, California, North Carolina, Texas, and all the places are that are being hit hard, or about to be hit hard by covid-19, please put a grace time on the housing timers.

I know people who have had no choice but to not pay for subscriptions because they are either too broke buying supplies to prepare for isolation, or they simply don't know if they will have enough money from their jobs. I myself am included! I live in the heart of the epidemic within Washington State. Please consider measures to help players during this tough time. It's honestly difficult to think about how much money we're gonna have in these next months. It's also a really scary situation, and I feel like having to reset housing timers should be the least of concern on peoples minds right now.

There have never been exceptions before- like death in the family, cancer, military overseas, etc. If you lose your house, you lose it. You can always get another one down the road.

You shouldn't be buying more than 2 weeks supply of food. Are people buying several months worth of stuff? That's just bad planning..

Preparation is good. Staying away from crowds as much as possible is good. Overreacting is not good.

Well yeah, that's Japan though- I appreciate you reminding me of that
Nothing was done for Australians as far as I know during the Inferno that happened there
Nothing has been done for anyone else unless there's some by chance-exception other than to Japan

They also did it for Hurricane Michael a year and a half ago, as well as a few other times over the course of the game's tenure.

Basic rule of thumb if it causes a massive loss of internet infrastructure to an area or displaces people due to other structure damage, they MIGHT postpone it depending on severity. a virus with an estimated 1 week-2 week recovery time does not fit under this. you can also plan for and prevent catching it entirely unlike a hurricane or massive earthquake...

This is officially a pandemic now. Google it. We should all be concerned. This isn't just some random death in the family.

I have a dejavu because i have seen this thread before.

What a plot twist, this one is actually serious one.

I see no reason why they shouldnt do it, they did it exclusively for their japan playerbase, are we worse than them for SE? They should take the timer away in case of this pandemic, no excuses unless they dont care for their own company integrity.
