Question About Eternal Bond Ceremony

Hi! First time using forum, so hope this is the right place to ask this.

A friend of mine and I were hoping to do the Eternal Bond ceremony for our characters. However, real-life stuff has impacted her, making her unsub for a bit, and we're unsure when she'll be back. However, the sub will lapse before the Ceremony, meaning she won't attend.

We still hope to do it some day, but I was curious to know if it's safe to keep it in the duty log, have the wedding lapse, and whenever she feels like subbing again, we could reschedule and pick up the wedding again. Or will it eventually force an abandon due to inactivity? We don't want refunds exactly, we do still want to go through with it, it's more a matter of making sure it won't be lost eventually due to unpreventable stuff.
