All of them should be, or there should be a /emote [loop] toggle or smt...
So... you want The Never Ending Story? ;)
Edit: P.S. you can endlessly read a book by switching to scholar or summoner and entering combat pose. At least on males... I'm not actually sure what the female version of the grimoore/codex battle pose is.
You're also reading it as female.
However if you are suggesting people lvl up a class to get a better version of the emote...then doesn't it possibly mean the emote is missing something?
I was really interested in the emote until I found out it's not persistent. What a disappointment. Well at least I main sch, so there's that.
I was talking about the book being glammed, but realized you meant the whole glam. You ninja posted before I edited it. I also wouldn't say most glam is locked behind jobs/classes. If people find the book reading more important, then yes, suggesting switching to a class that can do that is a valid suggestion. It was literally an afterthought I added as a P.S. after my joke which everybody is still ignoring.
I think part of the draw of a read emote is that you would be able to do it while equipped as a class other than arcanist (either in combination with incompatible gear or maybe idling in a dungeon/instance while waiting for someone). I know I've wanted to do it occasionally.
I'm not sure why they've made it a temporary emote, since there are plenty of NPCs that do it as a permanent idle pose.
Anyway, I haven't had the chance to try it yet but I hope it looks more engaged than the male arcanist pose. They look like they're staring at the book but not really reading it. The female pose looks more interested.
Can you use it while sitting?
Edit to add: There's actually a lot of glamour locked behind classes, it's just that a lot of people don't think to go looking beyond the Lv1 "glamour gear" items.
