Changing Grand Companies

Was wondering if there has ever been any word of being able to change companies (after you commit to the company) sometime in the near future. I remember you could change nation allegiance in FFXI, so was just wondering if someone has heard any plans for a similar option in FFXIV. Thanks!

not that i have seen, basicly once you choose your stuck like chuck. Wich wouldnt bother me soo long as the gear offered in the other companies were available to us at maybe a higher cost of GC seals.

Yeah, maybe things will open up with free companies.
