I have completed MSQ and sidequests up to this one for 5.2, my character has lvl 470 gear, I completed Cinder Drift normal three times and I can't figure out why this quest isn't appearing for me. I'm standing in front of the NPC Warmachina Fanatic and there's no
quest bubble above his head. Please help and thank you!
No, there isnt a quest bubble above his head. You unlock the ex by playing with his toys once youve finished talking to him.
Are you sure you haven't already unlocked it? It appears in the High-end duties section of the Duty Finder, not the normal one.
As Mholito said, make sure you are looking in high end duties, not normal duties.
You can also check Party Finder to see if it shows up there. That's where you should be joining parties anyway, nobody does high end content through duty finder outside of JP servers.
Also this is probably an unnecessary question, but you did finish the Ruby Weapon quest right? I don't know if the fanatic actually appears before the quest is done or not.
