Duty finder incorrectly blocking me from progressing

Three times in a row I accepted the ready check for "Baelsar's Wall". The standard box showed up showing that all but one DPS had accepted. Then, I was told that my penalty count increased. Three times this happened even though I selected Commence. Now I'm blocked for a half hour.

I just realized what happened. I happened to still be in a party with someone who is offline, but left their character logged in... I find it super upsetting that I had no idea why I was getting kicked and that I am being penalized for something that wasn't intentional and could have been avoided with some sort of warning....

Looking at your party list would have been a good warning, I think.
They're not offline if they leave their character on.

This was also a sufficient warning I think.

When the warning occurred, I didn't think the reason was my party. I didn't even think to look at my party because my friend had been gone for nearly three hours. I realize that it could have been prevented, but the message could have been clearer. I don't think it's fair for me to be held at fault in this situation and I think there's room for improvement here. The message could have been "One of your party members failed to accept the ready check" or something to make me think to even look at my party list.

It's only a 30 minute timer, and twice getting a warning that your penalty count has gone up and still doing the same thing is definitely on you. Chalk it up to a learning experience.
