Hello, since we can now extract materia from 100% soulbound equipment without losing the equipment it provided a way for people to get extra materia for overmelding. Unfortunately the menu items of extracting existing materia from what's already in-slot, and from soulbound can be confusing especially when you have to do it for a whole set and can easily mix it up.
With that said, I'd like to request that we can lock gear so we can't extract materia by accident. This has happened a few times by people I know and having to overmeld all over again is painful.
ie: In the context menu there could be LOCK EQUIPMENT and UNLOCK. By locking you can't accidentally take out materia and maybe even accidentally throw it away or destroy it? Just a secondary thought.

Use the "Materia Extraction" button in General. Don't do it piece by piece.
