Eden-raids I feel are ment to troll 3 types of players.

So before you jump to white knight the devs think about in all seriousness
Let's look at the three.
First dancers/gunbreakers who want primal weapons (almost every Fight was a primal from Arr... That they could have given the drop for primal weapons for gun/breaker and dancers to the choice not to so basically trolled those people.
Second People who enjoy summoning for real .. Again, every fight is stronger Primals than in the air yet they are too weak to summon the arr ones "really lol"
Third well they basicly troll people who want to fight with hammers again (i sware they do this every chance they get from Nero up )

There doesn't have to be a point outside the fact they obviousely get off on trolling their players. Thats all just how i feel about the raids in general thats all lol

Let's just focus on Meru who is part of one of the best games ever made.
